I have heard some Tori Amos fans as of recent asking about Tori Amos and decided to post this info found on Wikipedia to update:

In May 2008, Amos announced that she had negotiated an end to her contract with Epic Records and that she would be operating independently of major record labels on future work.[34][35] In December of the same year, Amos signed a partnership deal with Universal Republic Records for her tenth studio album to be released in spring/summer 2009.[36][37] Also in 2008, Amos was one of the contributors to Carrie Borzillo-Vrenna's book Cherry Bomb,[38][39][40] and released a live album and DVD, Live at Montreux 1991/1992, through Eagle Rock Entertainment. Other concurrent projects, Amos writing the music for Samuel Adamson's musical adaptation of the George MacDonald story The Light Princess for the Royal National Theatre and recording a duet with David Byrne, former lead singer of Talking Heads, for his album Here Lies Love,[41] are expected to debut sometime in 2009.[42]

In July 2008 Image Comics released Comic Book Tattoo, a 480-page book containing 51 graphic stories, each based on or inspired by an Amos song. Editor Rantz Hoseley worked with Amos to gather 80 different artists for the book, including Pia Guerra, David Mack, and Leah Moore. It includes an introduction by longtime friend Neil Gaiman, creator of The Sandman series.

Thanks for posting! I love Tori Amos and have not found anyone who is really taking her place, so that being said, want her to make more music.
